Supreme Court overturns Roe v. Wade

The Supreme Court released its opinions in the Dobbs case this morning.  Consistent with the leaked draft by Justice Alito, it overrules the Roe and Casey decisions.  You can read the opinions here.  The decision leaves the issue up to each of the 50 states.

“Abortion presents a profound moral question,” Justice Samuel Alito wrote.  “The Constitution does not prohibit the citizens of each State from regulating or prohibiting abortion.  Roe and Casey arrogated that authority.  We now overrule those decisions and return that authority to the people and their elected representatives.”

Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito wrote in language held over from the leaked draft.  “Its reasoning was exceptionally weak, and the decision has had damaging consequences.

Left-wing pro-abortion extremists have vowed to riot tonight.  We will see whether they carry through on that threat.

This has been a great week for the U.S. Constitution.

      1. A glimmer because now the fight is at every state level. The Democrats are the party of hate and death. Never ever forget that.

  1. Extremists are expected to launch violent attacks “for weeks” in response to the Supreme Court’s abortion ruling — with politicians and judges among the most likely targets, the Department of Homeland Security warned yesterday. This says much about those who would support abortion, that they would quickly resort to violence and intimidation against their fellow Americans. This is a cult of death and hate that supports abortion. Let us never forget that when we do what is right by supporting children who are yet born.

  2. Good news! I prayed to God – as so many have – and our prayers have been answered. One big step to protect the innocent babies. 😌🕯⛪

  3. Thank you Guardian Angels of Life, you are a breathe of fresh air.
This decision is just the start of honoring the miracle of life. Unfortunately, I live in a state that does not put a value on the life of the unborn or born. I will not lose hope that someday that will be reversed and I do believe that other states are and will stand up for our precious babies.

    1. We will fight for our unborn baby ! We are Guardian Angels of life Don’t give up on our state it took 50 yrs to turn Roe vs Wade n pray God has those babies in his arms

  4. I’m not so sure much will change except in states that highly restrict abortion. Other states have opened the tap wide open and there is a full assault on killing babies; all legal, you know.
