Having just posted information received regarding legislation that the Biden administration is circumnavigating (the Supreme Court ruling overturning Roe versus Wade) with executive orders. I believe it’s extremely important to bring to light some thoughts I had while writing that article.
Throughout history it has been proven that any government that has obtained too much power, abuses that power and people suffer.
What comes to mind is the Second World War where Nazi Germany imprisoned and murdered more than 6 million men, women, and children because of their ethnicity. It has happened before and could very well happen again, even in this country. When the most basic rights of an individual are denied, the rights of all are in danger. When you deny the basic right to live to the most vulnerable and helpless, where does it end?
What’s to stop an overreaching government to pass a law or executive order that says, if you’re over a certain age you have to be euthanized because it’s just simply too expensive to keep you alive. After all we kill babies by the millions why not the elderly? The state of New Jersey has already passed the law for the euthanasia pill. I wonder how long it will take the insurance companies to say we won’t pay for cancer treatment but we will pay for the euthanasia pill. Think about it! How long will it take for this law and other abortion laws to be abused?
We must respect the rights of all humans from conception to natural death. This is humanity’s most basic right and must not be violated.
